Micromesh is a versatile crop cover knitted from thin but strong UV stabilzed polyethylene transparent thread. Unlike plastic, it allows water to permeate through the mesh, self ventilating in the process and creating a healthy growing environment .
Micromesh will keep out pests down to carrot fly size. Micromesh promotes early growth and yield of young plants on to maturity giving a 6 to 8 week harvest advantage, with ease of management for those with a busy life style.

Germination - Wind/Frost Protection
Cloche plastic is a standard non-uv stabilized cover supplied with all standard garden series Cloche systems. Unlike Micro Mesh its life is only up to two seasons.
The soil temperature and humidity can been raised quicker than Micro mesh so germination can take place from seed. Plastic covers can also be used in autumn to extent the growing season.
The spring clip on the cloche should be used to vent on the hot days to avoid over heating as per the instructions. Plastic Cloche film can also be used in Combination with Micro mesh under the same spring clip. |
